# Breeding

The Server uses Daycare+

Items Needed:

* PC (parents must be in PC)
* Pasture Block
* Incubator

1. Put both parents in the PC.
2. Place the Pasture Block down and select Daycare.
3. Select the Pasture Block and choose Open Pasture.
4. Select the parents you would like to breed.
5. Wait for the Daycare to produce eggs.
6. When the Daycare has produced eggs, right-click with the Incubator to collect the eggs.

Eggs hatch periodically in the incubator. The incubator can be upgraded to increase capacity and how many eggs you can hatch at a time. The interface can show you what IVs will be passed down and your Shiny Odds.

**Breeding Foundations**

* To breed Pokemon, they must be in the same egg group and be of opposite genders.
* Genderless Pokemon need to breed with a Ditto.
* If bred with a Ditto, the offspring will always inherit the main species' ball.
* Legendaries cannot breed. (Manaphy is a Mythical, and can breed with Ditto to make a Phione).
* Baby Pokemon cannot breed and need to evolve first before breeding.

**Breeding Shinies**

* In Cobblemon, breeding Pokemon with different OT (Original Trainer) will result in increased shiny odds.

**Breeding Individual Values**

* IVs (Individual Values) range from 0-31 and can be passed down from parents.
* Offspring inherit 3 of the Parent IVs e.g. each parent has 6 stats each, meaning out of the 12 options, 3 will pass down and the remaining 3 will be random.
* If either parents is holding a Destiny Knot, the offspring will inherit 5 instead of 3.
* Parents can hold a Power item which will pass down the respective stat. (Does not increase IVs passed)

**Breeding Natures**

* A parent holding an Everstone will always pass down its Nature.

**Breeding Pokeballs**

* If both parents are the same species, the offspring has a 50% to inherit either ball.
* If the female is different to the male, the offspring will inherit the female's ball.
* If bred with a Ditto, the offspring will always inherit the main species. ball.
